Awtrey's talk focused on recent research results he obtained in collaboration with Elon mathematics majors Nicole Miles '15, Christopher Shill '14 and Erin Strosnider '14.

Accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Elon music theatre alumnus shared the stage with Kristin Chenoweth, one of Broadway’s powerhouses.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, Junot Díaz shared with an Elon University audience on Tuesday his approach to writing, his concerns about the way minorities are marginalized in the United States - and how he thinks American youth can change the world.
