Twenty-three Business Fellows and four faculty members from the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business traveled to New York City to visit various business firms and the New York Stock Exchange Sept. 12-14 as part of an annual fall Business Fellows trip.
Students visited many large firms including Bloomberg, Iconix, Blackrock, the New York Stock Exchange, David Beahm Design, Credit Suisse, Omnicom, BNY Mellon, Huffington Post Media Group, and Morgan Stanley. During these visits, the students gained knowledge of the different businesses and learned of possible career opportunities.
The group also attended the Evening for Elon event at The Plaza Hotel hosted by Elon trustee Ed Doherty and his wife Joan.
The students were accompanied by Wonhi Synn, chair and professor of finance; Neeraj Gupta, assistant professor of finance; Kevin O’Mara, professor of management; and Tina Das, professor of economics.
