The Muscular Dystrophy Associatin is in URGENT NEED for volunteers for the following events:
1) Party with a Purpose : This is a social event being held on Thursday, September 26th at The Proximity Hotel and 10 volunteers are needed to be auction runners, registration, greeting and event assistants.
2) The MUD BUG RUN: This 5K obstacle mud run Will be held on Saturday, September 21st at Haganstone Park Pleasant Garden, NC and volunteers are needed to register runners, hand out food, clean up, etc. Volunteers also get to do the run for free after the shift is over or on breaks, plus get a t-shert, food/drink, and an invitation to the after party with the bands. Step 1 : Visit www.themudbugrun.com, then click on the Volunteer portion to sign up for this Saturday so that you, as a volunteer, can run free. There are 3 shifts- 1st shift: 8AM – 12 (registration area, food, tshirts – etc) 2nd shift: 9 – 1 , 3rd shift: 2-6 (clean up crew) and then after party follows.
