Gilman Scholar and Alpha Phi Alpha Member Jordan Joshua will screen the documentary “The Door of No Return” and host a discussion on the importance of study abroad for minority students on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Oaks Commons 207.
Joshua, a senior finance major, spent the spring of his junior year in Ghana. He was awarded the Gilman Scholarship to assist with funding his experience, and is hosting this event as his follow-on project.
This event is co-sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and the Isabella Cannon Global Education Center.
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship program supports a diverse range of students who are traditionally underrepresented in global study.
