KOBC/LaRose Digital Theater, 5 p.m. (EJN ID: 752)
The Business German Speaker Series, in cooperation with the Student Professional Development Center and supported by a generous grant from the Fund for Excellence in the Arts and Sciences, will be hosting Marc Moser, head of purchasing for the NAFTA Region at Bosch Rexroth, on Monday, Nov 4.
In his presentation, which will take place from 5-6 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theater, Moser will address what Bosch USA is doing in the areas of mobility, energy and sustainability; the challenges and rewards of doing business in the United States; and how knowledge of the German language and culture would benefit students seeking employment and internship opportunities at Bosch USA. After the presentation, Moser will have some time to engage one-on-one with students.
The Business German Speaker Series, which is open to all students regardless of their major, supports the university’s commitment to global engagement and citizenship by illustrating how mastery of a second language and culture can directly benefit students seeking employment after graduation.
Part of the Bosch Group, a global technology and services company with more than 300,000 employees and a revenue of €52.3 billion (2012), Bosch USA is a dynamic and exciting company with many internship and employment opportunities for current students and graduates.
Don’t miss this presentation and networking opportunity. More information about Bosch USA, as well as excerpts from past Business German Speaker Series presentations, can be found on the Elon German Studies YouTube channel.
