Grading assignments can be one of the most time-consuming tasks instructors have to do. We want to help make that task a bit more manageable. We have created a Moodle Assignments training course that walks through the basic features of creating an Assignment. Participants are expected to review this material and follow the directions in the course prior to our meeting on January 21st. During our face-to-face session, we’ll evaluate one or two Assignments you’ve created beforehand, then go in-depth with the grading process. This will include how to enter grades in less than 60 seconds, building and using rubrics, uploading feedback files, and the Joule Grader.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants will be expected to review training materials before attending the session. Training materials are available now and can be started at any time. By reviewing training materials prior to our session, TLT will be able to spend more time in the face-to-face session reviewing advanced grading features that will save you time, rather than the logistics of setting up an Assignment.
Lunch will be provided to faculty who RSVP before Wednesday, January 8th.
