Elon University faculty, staff and students with ties to South Africa reflect on the passing of Nelson Mandela, a global leader whose humility and selflessness helped his nation heal from the ravages of apartheid.

By co-authoring a Nov. 14 intellectual property law scholars letter to President Obama and Congress, as well as a front page Dec. 6 column in the Los Angeles and San Francisco editions of the Daily Journal, California’s largest legal newspaper, Elon Law Professor David S. Levine continued to detail implications of secrecy in international law making. 

Pamela Winfield of the Department of Religious Studies presented two conference papers at the annual American Academy of Religion (AAR) conference in Baltimore, Md., on Nov. 25 & 26, 2013.
