The Sunshine Center of the North Carolina Open Government Coalition is pleased to announce Sunshine Day 2014. The March 17 event will focus on using technology to bring transparency to state and local governments.
Sunshine Day 2014 will be held on Elon University’s campus, March 17, 2014. The program begins at noon with a luncheon and keynote speech by Waldo Jaquith of the U.S. Open Data Institute. Afternoon panel sessions will focus on bringing transparency to the General Assembly and open data projects in North Carolina.
The Coalition is pleased to offer a training session on open government for members of the media in the morning.
