Beta Alpha Psi honor society initiates new members

Eleven accounting and finance students were welcomed into the Lambda Xi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi

Eleven accounting and finance students were initiated into Beta Alpha Psi, a national honorary society.
Beta Alpha Psi is a national honorary society recognizing students in fields of accounting, finance and information systems. The Lambda Xi chapter is hosted by Elon University’s Department of Accounting in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.

The following students were initiated into Beta Alpha Psi on Feb. 11:

Students initiated into full membership have maintained a 3.0 GPA overall, have at least a 3.0 GPA in an upper-level finance or accounting class and have been an associate member for one semester.

The Elon chapter of Beta Alpha Psi sponsors weekly activities relevant to industry topics, connecting educators, professionals and students. BAP also provides tutoring each week in the Love School of Business, holds a fall food drive and participates in Elonthon.
