Carswell just finished his debut album "Debonair," which is available for purchase.
Joshua Carswell was a Vocal Performance major and Elon’s Presser music scholar. He graduated in 2011. Upon graduating Elon University Joshua was the first prize winner at the “American Traditions Competition” in Savannah, GA and subsequently was a featured soloist with the Savannah Philharmonic. He is currently touring with top 10 Billboard charting artists the “Annie Moses Band.” When he is not on the road he has a thriving vocal studio in Brentwood, TN. Since leaving Elon he has been a featured soloist in Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern auditorium as well as a performer on the Grand Ole’ Opry stage. He just finished his debut album “Debonair” which is available for purchase.
The album was recorded primarily at Elfland studios in Brentwood, TN, The Sound Kitchen in Franklin, TN, and McPherson studios on music row in Nashville, TN. It features incredible arrangements by Bill Wolaver and contains the recording talents of the “Annie Moses Band”, renowned accordionist and member of the “Time Jumpers” Jeff Taylor and first call Jazz guitarist James DaSilva.
