The associate professor of English will be reading excerpts from his new novel, Kids These Days, at 7 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
With a dose of humor and grace, Associate Professor of English Drew Perry’s second novel, Kids These Days, spins the tale of a man and his wife who relocate to Florida and find themselves swept into the shady dealings and family drama of their in-laws. In it you will find a reluctant father-to-be, a flying man, some not-so-competent federal agents and a pirate.
You can listen to Perry read excerpts and share his thoughts during a public reading:
Tuesday, March 18
7 p.m., Johnston Hall (South Campus)
This is your chance to learn more about the book Dave Barry calls “sweet, soulful, smart, and funny as hell.” (No wonder Amazon.com named it “Best Book of the Month” when it was released.)
