UPDATED at 5:45 PM: Students and families on campus for Fellows Weekend can find important information in this article about schedule changes to events impacted by winter weather.
Check-in for Fellows and Scholarship Weekend will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 8, in Moseley Center. Continental breakfast will be available.
The schedule for Saturday has been changed to maximize safety and provide visiting students and their families with ample opportunities to meet Fellows directors and currently enrolled students.
Due to significant power outages in the region and the uncertainty of access to campus, we are unable to offer interviews. A separate assessment opportunity will follow the weekend so all candidates will be considered equitably.
Activities will conclude with an optional lunch in one of the campus dining halls. Because Alamance County is under a state of emergency, Elon University is unable to offer campus tours.
There will be some parking available in the McMichael Science Center parking lot as well as parking in the Hunt Softball lot on North Williamson Avenue with a shuttle running from 7:30 – 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.
The admissions staff at Elon University appreciates students’ understanding and looks forward to seeing them Saturday morning. Those not on campus tomorrow will still be considered for the Fellows programs.
