The Department of Performing Arts hosts four shows of an award-winning play that examines early perceptions of HIV/AIDS and gay rights. "Angels in America" runs April 10-13 in McCrary Theatre.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize, and the Tony Award, “Angels In America” remains Kushner’s most broadly known and socially important work. Penned in 1990, the play provided a searing examination of society’s reaction to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and gay rights.
