Three Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students presented at the School of Education's first "Live Well Teach Well" event for education students.
Adam Carter, DPTE class of 2014, lead the event with the assistance of Kandra Selby and Alie Thomas both in the DPTE class of 2016.
Carter, Selby and Thomas discussed issues related to protective health to avoid or improve back pain.
“This is Adam’s passion,” said Dr. Paula DiBiasio, who supervised the DPTE project. “He is all about wellness and on many occasions has given his time and shared his knowledge with the Elon community.”
Students in the School of Education practiced stretching and strengthening techniques and discussed practices in the classroom to promote good health.
