Opening night was at the Royal Opera House in Copenhagen on July 17, 2014. After a week hiatus the show will reopen on August 27 at the Fredericia Teater itself and continue its run.

The production has received both critical and audience acclaim, playing to full houses in Copenhagen, with many performances of its upcoming run already sold out. According to Soren Moller, the theatre’s artistic director, the show is the year’s biggest box-office success in Danish Theatre.

As part of the many months of personal preparation, Formato involved Elon students as her preproduction choreographic team, a process akin to an incubative, explorative laboratory.

These six students and Elon University are credited on the program’s title page.
