Elon University's Sports and Event Management program has partnered with the Burlington Parks and Recreation Department to host the first annual Haw River Hustle 5K on Nov. 23.
Elon University’s Sports and Event Management program has partnered with the Burlington Parks and Recreation Department to host the first annual Haw River Hustle 5K on Nov. 23.
This event will help to raise awareness for the Haw River Trail and serve as a benefit for the Western Alamance High School Cross Country team. The race will be held in Glencoe, North Carolina, along the Haw River Trail. A combination of beautiful scenery, meaningful historical background and amazing refurbished facilities will provide a 5K experience unlike any other.
Registration costs $25, and the first 50 runners to sign up will receive a complimentary race T-shirt.
