Haskell presents paper on poetic commemorations of World War I

Rosemary Haskell, professor of English,  presented on Nov. 8 her paper at the Annual Meeting of the South Atlantic Modern Language Association in Atlanta.

Rosemary Haskell’s paper titled, “All Troubled on the Home Front: Philip Larkin, Ted Hughes and Seamus Heaney Re-Historicize World War I,” examined later 20th-century commemorations and representations of the Great War by three British poets.
