Join us to kick off the holiday season with beautiful music, beeswax candles and a simple meal of coffee and a Moravian bun.
This wonderful worship service is held every year at Elon Community Church on the corner of Williamson and Haggard in Elon. Elon students and other community members volunteer as servers and participants enjoy carols, a message, a simple meal and finish up with songs by candlelight.
The worship service is from 5 to 6 p.m. and is co-sponsored by the Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual LIfe and Elon Community Church – an offering is collected for H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Eat) and the Elon University chapter of Habitat for Humanity. All are welcome!
If you would like to volunteer to be a diener (server), please contact Jan Register at jregister@elon.edu.
