Kylander began work at Elon as a temporary employee in 1996 and joined the staff full time in 1999. He had been working in the university’s electrical department.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at Lowe Funeral Home in Burlington. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Altamahaw Baptist Church, 3445 Altamahaw Church Street in Elon.
