Caregiving can be one of the most rewarding and important things that a person can do. Caregiving is a demanding, often stressful and sometimes exhausting task. Many caregivers give out physically and become frustrated in the process of helping a loved one. The key is taking care of oneself while taking care of another.
With the holidays upon us, we felt that it would be nice to not have a special speaker this time. We would like to use this opportunity as a support group for everyone who can make the group. Donna Lynn will help facilitate the support group. We would love people to come and share what has worked, what hasn’t worked, what you are dealing with now and how we can help each other as a group. A buffet lunch will be provided for those who register.
