Bulawsky focuses on the relationship between a pleasant situation that is neither planned nor intended – a “happy accident” – and the “integral accident,” one often catastrophic and driven by new technology but considered so commonplace and inevitable that it is no longer unexpected. She transforms visual happenstance into commentaries concerning the details of specific accidents.
