Stephanie Davis will help supervisors to realize that “today, the typical workplace population includes five, very distinct generations. Each of these unique generations brings to the workplace a different set of work values, preferences for how, when and where to accomplish work activities, and views about what is important in life in general. These generational differences can often lead to misunderstandings, employee turnover, difficulty in attracting employees and gaining employee commitment. Understanding how to manage younger and older workers can make the workplace more productive. In this session we will look at who makes up each generation and discuss strategies for engaging and motivating our diverse workforce. We will also look at future trends in the workplace and discuss how to prepare for our next generation of leaders and workers.” A buffet lunch will be provided for those who register.
