This first film in the spring semester's Global Neighborhood Film Series will screen on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Global Commons Media Room (Room 103).
Tomboy, a 2011 film directed by Céline Sciamma, is a charming and captivating story about childhood and identity featuring 10-year old Laure who moves to a new neighborhood with her family, where she is mistaken for a boy and decides to become Michael.
The film screening will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Global Commons Media Room (Room 103).
Following the film will be a discussion led by Professor Aleks Babic.
