Duke Energy will close the railroad crossing at Williamson Avenue on Feb. 16, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The closing will affect both pedestrians and motorists as contractors replace and re-wire several power poles on both sides of railroad crossing. Posted detours will direct motorists around the crossing closure.
Pedestrians who normally cross at the Williamson Avenue crossing can use the tunnel on East Trollinger or the crossing at Church Street.
