School of Communications volunteers in UNC-TV’s fundraising drive

A dozen volunteers from the School of Communications and the elondocs production program volunteered at UNC-TV’s spring fundraising drive March 9.[/caption]​A group of School of Communications faculty and staff, as well as students in the elondocs production program, participated in UNC-TV’s spring fundraising drive March 9. The fundraiser was held in the public television network’s Research Triangle Park studio.

As part of their participation, Elon University volunteers answered phones and processed pledge information. If viewers looked closely, the volunteers could be seen on live television.

Among the faculty and staff volunteers on hand were Vanessa Bravo, Happy Kerns, Max Negin, Dean Paul Parsons, Amanda Sturgill, Nagatha Tonkins and Nicole Triche. The elondocs members in attendance were seniors Chiara Costanzo, Stephen Harris, Kathryn Jeffords, junior Francesca Collins and sophomore Rhett Lawson.
