Elon University is administering the 2015 National Survey of Student Engagement.
Elon is participating this semester in the National Survey of Student Engagement. All first-year and senior students are invited to complete the NSSE and will receive email invitations during March and early April. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
The study, overseen by Indiana University’s Center for Postsecondary Research, assesses the nature and quality of student interactions with faculty, staff, and their peers and what students think they have gained from their time at Elon. In support of the Writing Excellence Initiative and the university’s commitment to graduate informed and engaged citizens, the 2015 NSSE also includes questions about student experiences with writing and civic engagement.
Survey results are reviewed by several groups across campus, including the Academic Affairs Advisory Council, Senior Staff, and the Writing Excellence Initiative. Results from prior years have been used by the Residential Campus Initiative, the School of Communications, and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning
