Garrett Johnston ’16 named a finalist in PepsiCo’s ‘Meeting of the Minds’ contest

The strategic communications major is one of nine finalists for the student competition and needs your vote. The contest’s winner receives a summer internship at the company’s content studio in New York City.

As a ‘Meeting of the Minds’ contest finalist, Garrett Johnston ’16 is competing for a summer internship at PepsiCo’s content studio in New York City. [/caption]​Strategic communications major Garrett Johnston ’16 was named a finalist in the PepsiCo “Meeting of the Minds” campaign, an innovative initiative that offers college students a chance to win a summer internship at the company’s content studio in New York City. In addition to the internship, the contest winner will meet Frank Cooper III, PepsiCo’s chief marketing officer of global consumer engagement.

Contestants were asked to create and upload a short video pitching their ideas for connecting a PepsiCo brand to an up-and-coming musician. Students were encouraged to be creative with their submissions. 

As a Meeting of the Minds finalist, Johnston is competing against eight other contestants in a public vote, held now through Thursday, April 9. To cast a vote, visit Johnston’s entry webpage. Individuals may cast one vote per day.
