Camp counselors help the campers with camp activities such as fishing, canoeing and sports activities, as well as daily tasks. Counselors will receive training for activities such as wheelchair transfers, physical therapy and occupational therapy. This would be an ideal experience for students interested in pursuing a degree in physical therapy, physical education and in the medical field. Applications can be found online at the MDA Camp website. Applications are due on May 1st, 2015. For more information please contact Elizabeth Lamb at elamb@mdausa.org or (336)856-1591.
