[/caption]Mussa Idris, an assistant professor of anthropology, presented a paper on April 4 at the 2015 Africa Conference in the University of Texas at Austin.
His study provided analytical views on how and why official narratives that were constructed and told about Asmara, the current capital city of Eritrea, have changed through time, from 1890 to its present status.
This year’s theme at the Africa Conference was “Development, Urban Space, and Human Rights.”
