On Friday, April 17, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, the Elon Law Pro Bono Board invites you to the second annual Pickin' for a Purpose benefit event to support creative development of area youth and the volunteer efforts of the law school's Pro Bono Board.
The event will be held at the Greensboro Cultural Center at 200 N. Davie Street in Greensboro, It will include performances by Professor Eric Fink, Renee Russell, The SuperWatts, Lauren Calve and more.
Cover: $7 presale, $10 at the door.
Students can purchase tickets from the Pro Bono Board in the Commons the weeks of April 6 and 13 at lunch.
The event is presented by the Elon Law Pro Bono Board and the nonprofit Guitars Not Guns music program.
Half of all proceeds go towards providing creative development for deserving youth and the prevention of negative influences like drugs and gang-related activities. Remaining proceeds go to the Elon Law Pro Bono Board to help fund programs and Alternative Break Trips.
