Elon University’s charter class in the Physician Assistant Studies graduate program achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam.
All 37 graduates of the Class of 2015 passed the test on their first attempt. The national average for test takers is 94 percent.
The test is administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a “computer-based, multiple-choice test comprising questions that assess general medical and surgical knowledge.”
