In this week’s “Elon Law Now” faculty commentary series, Senior Associate Dean Alan Woodlief details a variety of laws that appear to be created for special interests and urges greater focus on the most important issues facing North Carolina. 

First-year student Gabby Vance will travel to Prague this summer for the Global Leadership Program.

The UNC Chapel Hill Foundation, which manages $352 million of the university's funds, recently filed a Form 990 with the IRS for 2013-14 for the first time since 2007. The foundation had claimed exemption from the IRS' reporting requirements as a government affiliated entity. Chancellor Folt announced last fall that the foundation would return to the practice of filing disclosures.

Elon University senior entrepreneurship major Kimberly Gersh leveraged a summer work experience into a permanent position by using her personal network and seeking resume and cover letter feedback from the Student Professional Development Center.

The national mathematics honor society Pi Mu Epsilon hosted Karin Saoub, assistant professor at Roanoke College, for a special guest lecture on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
