Haven - Understanding Sexual Assault™ is an interactive online education and skill building program that addresses the issues of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.
Haven is an interactive online education and skill building program created and hosted by Everfi. With data from the National Institute of Justice showing that one in five college women (and 1 in 16 men) will experience some form of non-consensual sexual activity by graduation, the widespread impact of sexual violence on students is a critical issue for all college campuses. Haven – Understanding Sexual Assault™ addresses the issues of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking, which impact countless college students across the country.
The surveys built into Haven are designed to assess students’ attitudes and behaviors before, during, and after the course. All individual responses on surveys and exams are confidential; Elon will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students’ answers.
Part 1 of Haven will be active on Monday, July 13 and must be completed by August 15th. (Part 2 will become active on October 1.)
