SCOTUS Brown Bag Conversation on the Supreme Court’s Marriage Equality Decision
Tuesday, June 30 at 12 p.m.
Gender & LGBTQIA Center – Moseley 211
Bring your lunch & come connect with colleagues across the university. We’ll discuss details of the Supreme Court decision, answer some questions, and explore as a group what this means for connected topics including workplace climate, employee benefits, and job protections locally and nationally.

. Creation and Implementation of the 3-Year Strategic Plan for LGBTQIA Inclusion
. Admissions adding the LGBTQIA question to the Application for Enrollment
. Establishment of the Gender & LGBTQIA Center, Alumni Network, & Employee Resource Group
. Human Resources equalizing benefits for same- and different-gender couples
. Registrar assisting in name changes for our transgender students and alumni
. Women’s and Gender Studies (26 years strong) leading the charge for all faculty to engage students and academic departments in scholarly inquiry and social movements around gender and sexuality topics
