Thursday-Friday, October 15 & 16
Choreography Salon
Moderated by Associate Professor Lauren Kearns
Studio A, Center for the Arts, 6 p.m. (Program A) and 8 p.m. (Program B), both nights
The concept of the “salon” is based on the French model of performing works-in-progress in an intimate environment that encourages dialogue between the audience and artists. Each program will include original solos and duets from Renay Aumiller’s fall semester Choreography I class, and quartets, quintets and sextets from Lauren Kearns’ fall semester Choreography II class. Admission is free; donations to the BFA Dance Scholarship Fund are welcomed.
