Dave Gammon, associate professor in biology, recently gave an oral presentation in Nova Scotia at the joint research meetings for the Wilson Ornithological Society, Society of Canadian Ornithologists, and Association of Field Ornithologists.
His presentation was titled “Northern Mockingbirds: open-ended song-learning?” He was also listed as coauthor for the oral presentation of a student, Patrick Lyon (Elon, ’15): “Evolution of Vocal Mimicry in the Northern Mockingbird (Mimus polyglottos)”
