The associate professor of communications will provide the public relations publication with content on strategic communications topics including advocacy and writing.
Julie Lellis, associate professor and associate department chair in the School of Communications, published her first article on Aug. 4 as a contributing writer for PR News. The article, titled “7 Points to Consider When Your Brand Gets Involved in Social Issues,” addresses what businesses and brands should consider when trying to decide whether or not to take a stand on social topics.
Moving forward, Lellis will serve as a contributing writer for the publication, providing content on strategic communications topics including advocacy and writing.
