Student Health and Wellness to offer CPR/AED classes

Next AED/CPR Training is Tuesday, September 15 from 3:15-6:30 p.m. in Harden Club House. Students will be given reservation priority until noon Thursday, Sept. 3.

The Office of Student Health and Wellness is pleased to offer an Adult and Pediatric CPR /AED training for students:

Tuesday, September 15

3:15 to 6:30 p.m.

Harden Club House (South Campus)

There is no cost for the training. You will be certified to administer adult and pediatric CPR and to use any Automatic-External Defibrillator ( AED) unit – including the 26  we currently have on campus.  We do ask that if you sign up for the class, you complete it – demand is high, space is limited and we have to pay for the materials upfront. Please do not reserve a space in the class unless you are fully committed to completion of the course.

The certification training is open to faculty, staff and students, but students will be given priority to sign up until noon on Thursday, September 3. Class size is limited  and demand is high so register early!   This is a blended learning training so  once you are registered, you will be provided a link  for the on-line portion of the course.  This on-line module MUST be completed prior to the skills portion of the class on September 15.

If you have questions, please contact instructor Emily Williams, Certified Athletic Trainer, at ewilliams37@elon.edu or at ext. 7200.
