Elon Dining held a Carnival Theme Meal at Lakeside Dining Hall on Thursday, Sept. 10.
If you recently witnessed students leaving Lakeside Dining Hall with crazy balloon art hats, photo booth strips and cotton candy, your eyes weren’t playing tricks on you. On Thursday, Sept. 10, Elon Dining put on its first theme meal of the semester, and students loved the carnival inspired night.
Lakeside Dining Hall was buzzing due to all the excitement. The hall was transformed into a big top tent full of decorations and music. Different stations in Lakeside featured traditional fair foods and goodies. Crowd favorites included candy apple decorating, funnel cake fries and a pretzel machine. Students kept coming back for more spareribs and chocolate-dipped foods. At the far side of the dining hall, multiple games were set up alongside a photo booth complete with crazy hats and feather boas. Laughter and enjoyment abounded.
Elon Dining hopes to bring fun to the Elon community throughout the year with more theme meals, great food and live entertainment. Follow Elon Dining on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to learn more about upcoming theme meals and events.
