The School of Communications’ documentary program introduces its 12 new student members for the 2015-16 academic year.

Students connected with alumni and corporate leaders during a recent visit to New York City intended to boost their professional networks.

More than 90 first-year students who recently joined the LEAD Program gathered Sept. 9 at the Tier Team Reveal in McKinnon Hall to meet other LEAD participants and their Tier Team captains.

President Emeritus J. Fred Young visited campus on Sept. 18 to share stories of desegregating the Lynchburg City Schools in Virginia, where he worked as superintendent in the late 1960s prior to serving as Elon's president for a quarter century.

Students took the opportunity earlier this month to tour facilities and meet in Greensboro, North Carolina, with the co-founders of both an innovation hub and a makerspace. 

The competition, sponsored by Amica Mutual Insurance Company, offers Elon students the chance to further develop their professional selling skills.

Buddhist monks from Raleigh’s Kadampa Center visited Elon to build a sand mandala, a fleeting gift with lasting lessons of kindness and understanding.

The assistant professors of communications traveled to Washington, D.C., for a four-day conference designed to inspire, energize and challenge professors, scholars, and film and video makers.
