Horton will provide administrative assistance for the graduate programs.
Diane Horton joins the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business as the program and outreach coordinator for both the Elon MBA program at the Research Triangle Park location and the newly launched M.S. in Management program.
In this role, Horton will provide support, including the advising and scheduling of classes, for current students, as well as leadership in the promotion and outreach to prospective students.
Horton has more than 14 years of experience in higher education, with expertise in student recruitment, developing marketing strategies and creating new admissions pipelines. She previously worked for the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she most recently served as the director of the Master of Accounting program. Horton also worked with the university’s MBA program for several years.
“Diane brings with her a vast knowledge of student services, systems management, and faculty and corporate relations,” said Bill Burpitt, associate dean of the Love School of Business. “We are excited that she is going to put her knowledge to work to help us develop the RTP arm of the MBA and MSM programs.”
Horton received a bachelor’s degree in economics from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in conflict studies and dispute resolution from UNC-Greensboro.
