Join the us in celebration of the 7th annual National Day on Writing on Tuesday, October 20. Start off at College Coffee and then visit our six fun-filled events across campus between noon and 4 p.m.!
The National Day on Writing is Tuesday, October 20!
The Center for Writing Excellence is proud to sponsor Elon’s celebration of the 7th annual National Day on Writing. This year’s national theme is #WhyIWrite.
We will start our celebration at College Coffee, where we will have Center for Writing Excellence t-shirts, buttons and other CWE goodies. There will be blue name tags ready for you to fill out and tell the world why YOU write! Then, let one of our Writing Center Consultants snap a picture of you with your name tag, post it on social media with the #WhyIWrite hashtag, and you will be automatically entered to win one of our prize packages!
So, grab a cup of coffee and a name tag – and find our table at College Coffee!
We will then host six more free events across campus from noon-4pm – where you can participate in fun and engaging activities that celebrate Elon’s commitment to excellence in writing for all. Each location will have a different activity as well as great prizes – you won’t want to miss this!
