Whether decades removed or simply gone since May, Elon alumni returned to their alma mater Saturday for a day of revelry highlighted by tailgating and football.

As Homecomings go, it was one for the ages.
Thousands of Elon alumni and students celebrated their alma mater on Saturday afternoon with entertainment and football under a crystal blue autumn sky.
Homecoming 2015 featured a number of programs and award ceremonies for alumni of all generations. With a weekend schedule highlighted by reunion tailgating along Bank of America Drive, it was impossible not to reconnect with old friends and mentors, or to forge new relationships with upcoming generations of Elon University graduates.
Events also included service projects led by the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement, a new campus 5K race, open houses and alumni brunches, alumni wisdom panels, award celebrations and campus walking tours.
“There’s no place like home” served as the theme of Homecoming 2015. Indeed, there isn’t a home like Elon.
