The annual gathering of the Mathematical Association of North Carolina will include a lecture and poster session.
Elon’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics is hosting the 2015 Mathematical Association of America North Carolina State Dinner on Oct. 26. The event schedule is as follows:
3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Lecture by Dave Kung, professor of mathematics at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, on “Harmonious Equations: A Mathematical Exploration of Music” in Whitley Auditorium
5 – 6 p.m. – Poster Session in Lakeside Meeting Rooms
6 – 8 p.m. – Dinner and Keynote talk by Professor Kung in Lakeside Meeting Rooms
