I am pleased to share with you Elon University’s 2015 President’s Report, highlighting some of the ways that Elon scholars are putting their knowledge into action and making an impact in our world. In this report, you’ll learn about faculty members who are doing groundbreaking research on campus and in fieldwork around the globe. They are studying new cancer treatments, economic challenges for workers, predictive models for crime, the role of sports and play in our lives, and many other important topics.

This report also provides examples of the sophisticated research being done by Elon students working with their faculty mentors. These projects exemplify the strength of student-faculty relationships that, for many, become lifelong intellectual partnerships.
