Jamie Albright '13 and Professor Cynthia Fair shared original HIV/AIDS research at a conference of the American Public Health Association.
Jamie Albright ‘13 partnered with Professor Cynthia Fair in the Department of Human Service Studies to present ongoing research at a fall 2015 American Public Health Association conference in Chicago.
The pair shared findings about the decision processes of youth suffering from perinatally aquired HIV, based on research they conducted over the past four years.
Albright and Fair also presented research explaining the difficulties of dating and childbearing for guardians of adolescents with perinatally-acquired HIV. They co-authored a paper on this topic with two other Elon alumni, Devon Clark ’14 and Bethany Houpt ’15.
During her time at Elon, Albright was a Lumen Scholar and public health studies major. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Virginia.
