More than 2,000 alumni and seniors will be honored on Dec. 3 during this year's Festival of Holiday Lights, which features singing of Christmas carols and luminarias, hot chocolate and cider, the lighting of a Hanukkah menorah, and a visit by Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.
Elon will honor the generosity of alumni and senior donors by placing their names on the luminaries that will light the pathways between Moseley and Alamance buildings during the annual Festival of Holiday Lights.
Elon relies on the generosity of donors to make the many benefits of an Elon education available to students. Alumni support provides innumerable opportunities for students to become fully immersed in the Elon experience and allows the university to grow stronger every year.
All current alumni and senior donors (June 1 – Dec. 1) will be recognized during this special Elon tradition, scheduled this year for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3. Those who have not yet made a gift to Elon can still be included by donating on or before Dec. 1 (#GivingTuesday). Click here to learn more about Elon’s giving priorities.

Lights and luminarias, hot chocolate and cider, singing of Christmas carols and a vist by the Clauses mark Elon’s annual holiday festival. The evening features Hanukkah menorah lighting and prayer and music by the Elon Saxophone Quartet, EU Gospel Choir, Sweet Signatures, Elon Brass Quintet, and Smooth Progressions. Santa and Mrs. Claus make an appearance at the end of the night.
