9-11 a.m. in Oaks 212
Open to Students, Faculty, and Staff
A global study conducted by the British Council, Booz Allen Hamilton and Ipsos Public Affairs found that “employers value intercultural skills as highly as formal qualifications in the workplace.” This has led to employers looking to hire employees who are not only technically proficient, but also culturally competent and able to thrive in a diverse and global environment. In this workshop attendees will learn the elements of intercultural competence, how to develop and grow intercultural competence, and how to effectively communicate relevant experiences to employers.
This interactive workshop is facilitated by Ross Wade in the Student Professional Development Center.
