Jeff Adams, Police Officer
Jeff Adams is originally from Sanford, North Carolina. Before coming to Elon, he worked for the Durham County Sheriff’s Office. When he is not working, he enjoys working out, sports, church and spending time with his wife, Erin, and daughter Anna. Jeff is excited to work for Elon because of its location and educational benefits.
Uchenna Baker, Assistant Dean for Campus Life, Director of Residence Life
Uchenna Baker is a native of South Orange, New Jersey, and received her Ph.D. in education policy from Rutgers University. Before coming to Elon, she worked at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. In her free time, Uchenna enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and three children.
Maggie Castor, Program Coordinator for the Office of Inclusive Community and Well-Being
Maggie Castor hails from Post Falls, Idaho. They received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Elon, and a master’s in library and information studies at the University of British Columbia. In their spare time, they enjoy drinking coffee, making dinner with friends and taking their dog, Boris, on adventures. Maggie looks forward to helping make Elon a more inclusive environment for present and future members of the community.
Brian Cauley, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach
An Elon, North Carolina native, Brian Cauley received his master’s degree in kinesiology. Before coming to Elon, he worked at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. In his free time, Brian enjoys weight training and spending time with his wife, Amber, and daughter Faith. He looks forward to joining the tight-knit Elon community.
Gerald Chatman, Defensive Line Coach
Gerald Chatman is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and previously worked at Texas A&M University. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and his master’s degree from Ball State University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren.
Heather Colleran, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Exercise Science
Heather Colleran received her bachelor’s degrees in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and in exercise science from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. In her free time, Heather enjoys triathlons, running, hiking and skiing, as well as spending time with her husband and three kids. She looks forward to the excellent students and faculty at Elon, as well as the opportunity to teach sports nutrition.
Earl Crow, Adjunct Professor of Philosophy
Earl Crow hails from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Before coming to Elon, he worked at High Point University and Wake Forest University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Shirley.
Emanuel Fiano, Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies
Emanuel Fiano hails from Oakland, California. He is completing his Ph.D. at Duke University, where he was employed before coming to Elon. In his free time, Emanuel enjoys rowing. He is excited to work at Elon for the lively campus life, beautiful campus and great religious studies department.
Sarah Gaby, Professor of Sociology
Sarah Gaby is a native of Miami, Florida. Before coming to Elon, she worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her free time, Sarah enjoys running, yoga, cooking, hiking and camping. She looks forward to the service learning and liberal arts curriculum that Elon offers.
Jay Johnson, Assistant Softball Coach
Jay Johnson is originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Before coming to Elon, he worked at Grace College. A graduate of Montreat College, Jay enjoys family time, hunting and fishing and self-improvement. He looks forward to coming to Elon because it allows him to return to his roots.
Jen Kimbrough, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Health and Human Performance
Jen Kimbrough is originally from Summerfield, North Carolina. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before coming to Elon, Jen worked as a research assistant professor at UNCG. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, animal rescue and spending time with her six horses and family. She looks forward to teaching the great students at Elon.
Adrienne Krone, Adjunct Instructor of Religious Studies
Adrienne Krone is a native of Buffalo, New York. She received her bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Stony Brook University and her master’s degree in religious studies from Duke University. In her spare time, Adrienne enjoys cooking, growing vegetables and canning. She looks forward to teaching a course on Judaism and food at Elon.
Lamar Lewis, Musician Accompanist
Lamar Lewis is originally from Newark, New Jersey. He previously worked as a research assistant and received his bachelor’s degree in biological engineering. In his free time, Lamar enjoys spending time with his wife, Leila, and son Selahssie as well as practicing his instrument. He looks forward to working for Elon because the reputation of the university is stellar.
Samantha Limbach, Custodian
Samantha Limbach is a native of Gibbon, Nebraska. Before coming to Elon, she worked at Midstate Services. She enjoys spending time with her children and her husband. She looks forward to working with the kind people of Elon.
Richard McBride, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Human Services
Richard McBride is originally from Roanoke, Virginia. He previously worked as the chaplain emeritus at Elon. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Wendy.
Beth McCain, Adjunct Instructor of Accounting
Beth McCain received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Boston College and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Originally from Larchmont, New York, she previously worked as an associate professor of accounting and an assurance manager at Smith Leonard. In her free time, Beth enjoys rowing, reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
Kirsten Trowbridge, Adjunct Instructor of Environmental Studies
Kirsten Trowbridge received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and her master’s degree in molecular biology. Before coming to Elon, she worked for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Bennett College. Originally from Graham, North Carolina, she enjoys singing, dance, outdoor activities and spending time with her daughter and cat. She is excited to work at Elon because she feels at home at the school.
William Turner, Software Developer
William Turner received his bachelor’s degrees in software engineering and information technology from Guilford College. Before coming to Elon, he worked as a SharePoint Designer at Iomax Incorporated. In his free time, William enjoys camping, dancing and spending time with his two stepdaughters, Christina and Hannah. He looks forward to his time at Elon because he enjoys working in higher education and making a difference in people’s lives.
Stacy Waddell, Adjunct Instructor in Art and Art History
Stacy Waddell was previously employed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Guilford College. She received her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and her master’s degree from UNC at Chapel Hill. A native of Louisburg, North Carolina, she enjoys music, film and food and wine tasting. She looks forward to coming to Elon because of the school’s long-standing history of excellence.
Morris Wallack, Adjunct Instructor in Marketing
Morris Wallack worked for Hewlett Packard for more than 30 years before coming to Elon, last serving as a vice president. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and master’s degrees from Amos Tuck School and Dartmouth College. In his free time, Morris enjoys cooking, golf, reading and exercise, as well as spending time with his wife and two daughters. He looks forward to teaching about business related topics at Elon.
David Willis, Plumbing Supervisor
David Willis previously worked as the owner of Willis – Willis Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. Originally from Reidsville, North Carolina, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tanya, and children Mary Kate and Alex.
