Sisterhood Circle: Birth Control and Sexual Health –  March 4

If you identify as an ALANAM woman—African American/Black, Latino/Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaskan Native and Multiracial—join us for a lively conversation about birth control and sexual health.

Join us for our next ALANAM Sisterhood Circle on March 4 at 430 p.m. in El Centro de Español as we collaborate with the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta and the women of Chi Upsilon Sigma to talk about birth control and sexual health. We will have a SPARK’s representative come chat with you about the various birth control options and how they can affect you and your sexual health.

Sisterhood Circle is a safe space for discussion among students, faculty and staff who identify as ALANAM (African American/Black, Latino/Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaskan Native and Multiracial) across Elon’s campus.

With input from students, faculty, and staff, Sisterhood Circle meetings are held bi-monthly, Mondays at 7 p.m. and Fridays at 430 p.m. to discuss topics relevant to being a woman of color and their experiences at a predominantly white institution. Come meet and talk with your fellow students, faculty, and staff as we take time to discuss things that relate to ALANAM women. We all come from various backgrounds and ethnicities, and we should be proud to recognize that. If you identify as an individual from an ALANAM group, please consider joining us for Sisterhood Circle!

If you have any questions please email Cierra Seawright (cseawright@elon.edu).
